Campus Recreation

Policies

 CRC Membership is available for NKU students, faculty, staff, alumni and their immediate dependents.   Memberships can be purchased in person at the Campus Recreation Center or eligible members can print off our member application and mail it in to our office along with their fee.

NKU Campus Recreation Center Membership Agreement:

As consideration for the opportunity to use the property, facilities, equipment, and/or services of the NKU Campus Recreation Department, I acknowledge that I have read the following and voluntarily agree to its terms and conditions:

  1. All individuals connected to this membership agree to abide by all rules and policies of the NKU Campus Recreation Department. Failure to comply with all rules and policies of the NKU Campus Recreation Department may result in the suspension of recreational privileges. The Campus Recreation Department reserves the right to discontinue access to recreational facilities and programs. Facilities may be closed or unavailable due to maintenance, repairs, holidays or other circumstances. Facility hours and policies are subject to change.
  2. I acknowledge that I should meet with a physician before starting any exercise program or activity to help determine if I am healthy enough to engage in physical activity.
  3. RELEASE & ASSUMPTION of RISK - All use of Campus Recreation facilities, services and programs shall be undertaken at his/her sole risk and Campus Recreation shall not be liable for any injuries, accidents or deaths occurring to the member, arising either directly or indirectly out of utilizing the Campus Recreation facilities, services and programs. All members, for himself/herself expressly release, discharge, waive, relinquish, and covenants not to sue NKU Campus Recreation, its officers/agents for all such claims, demands, injuries, damages  or cause of action, with respect to use of the Campus Recreation facilities, programs and services.
  4. In case of emergency, accident, illness or other incapacity which occurs while using the property, facilities, equipment, and /or services of the NKU Campus Recreation Department, I give permission to be treated by a medical professional. I understand and agree that I am responsible for all medical and emergency expenses incurred.
  5. When using the NKU Campus Recreation facilities, equipment and/or services I agree to be photographed and videotaped and for any pictures and video with me in it, to be used for marketing purposes.
