The Learn to Swim Program

The Learn to Swim Program provides five progressive levels of instruction designed to help swimmers of all ages learn stroke techniques, personal water safety skills, and beginning methods of basic water rescue. There is no minimum age to enroll in the Learn to Swim Program. The different levels offered are listed below:

  • Aquababies A: Developed for children six months to five years of age and their parents. Level A is for children with little or no prior experience in the water. Parents will be required to be in the water with their children.
  • Aquababies B: Developed for children six months to five years of age and their parents. Level B is designed for children with some experience in the water who require floatation support at all times, are reluctant to submerge (or won't at all), and who benefit from having a parent with them at all times. Parents will be required to accompany their children in the water.
  •  Level I: Introduction to Water Skills
  •  Level II: Fundamental Aquatic Skills
  •  Level III: Stroke Development
  •  Level IV: Stroke Improvement
  •  Level V: Stroke Refinement
